"I love feeling so connected to everything! Nature is my home! The wind in my hair, the ground I am walking on, the trees I climb. When I'm outside I feel happy, and I love to learn about all of the plants and animals around me. I especially love to learn about all the plants and flowers that I can eat!"
"I love frogs! You should wet your hands before you touch them, frogs are amphibians and the oil from our hands can hurt them because they absorb things through their skin. Did you know frogs are a sign of a healthy environment? My favorite kind of frog is a leopard frog, we find a lot of them in the cedar swamps and in muddy puddles in the pine barrens! I love hearing all of the frogs outside at night from my bedroom window, it makes me feel happy!"
"My favorite thing to do outside is go to Forest School! We go hiking, learn about nature, spend the whole day outside, read nature books, explore, climb, run and breathe in the fresh air! I always walk very slowly on our nature walks so I can see all of the wondrous things that everybody else usually misses! Sitting by the water and painting at Forest School is the best!"
