Start Their AdventureI love nature because I get to go on hikes and walks and see cool stuff like leaves and birds. Leaves are fun to crunch and throw, and birds sing pretty songs. Sometimes, we even go Geocaching! After it rains, I love going puddle jumping. I also love swimming in the lake and fishing with my family. Living at a lake and exploring nature everyday is the best!
My favorite animal is a squirrel! I love squirrels so, so much. I can see them from the window at my house or when I go outside. They run super fast and they’re really fun to watch. Sometimes they stop and look around with their tiny paws up like they’re saying, “What’s going on?” I think baby squirrels are the cutest. They’re so little and they have fluffy tails too, just like the big squirrels. I saw a mama squirrel once and she was climbing a tree with her baby. It was the best thing ever!
My favorite outdoor thing is climbing the big rocks by our lake! I play cafe, sushi bar, fire station, and police station on them. The best part is jumping off the rocks into the lake. I love swimming so much! The water feels cool and splashy, and I kick my feet and pretend I'm a turtle. Sometimes I float on my back and look at the sky. Living on Buggs Island Lake is the best ever!
