Start Their AdventureMy son loves watching the birds fly, changing sounds and the colors on the trees. He learnt about different seasons and he loves drawing. Sometimes he draws a flower with eyes and wings and legs says “that’s mommy”. He loves adding rainbow colors to his drawings and Lego and magnetic tiles. He loves rock painting and we have a “rock painted snake” in the park where kids pick a rock, color and add it to the ever growing rock snake.
My son’s favorite animal is dinosaurs, now giraffe and dogs. When he was 2 years old, he was fascinated by the world of dinosaurs, he knows the names of the dinosaurs, can alphabetize them A to Z and he loves my silly bedtime quizzes on dinosaurs and animals- like “which dinosaur has a long long like a giraffe, which dinosaur has 3 horns, which animal has 1 horn, which bird talks back, which bird stays up at night, and so on”.
His most recent/ new found interest is in rock climbing and hiking. He took his first hike 7 months back and he walked and climbed and jumped all 4 miles. He loves rock climbing- has done a mini rock climbing session with a small group but mostly does the wall rock climbing in the garage at home. He loves running, and runs very fast too. Friends tell us that “he runs like a lightening, gone in a flash”.
