He says, “without nature we wouldn’t even be able to breathe!” He loves that there is always something new and exciting to learn about nature. Loving nature means loving animals, insects, people, flowers, plants, air, water, fire and earth, and Koa loves all those! He loves knowing that we can all love and respect all aspects of nature and that it will make a positive impact in doing so.
His favorite animal is and always has been an orca. He loves how mighty, strong, beautiful and intelligent they are. He thinks it’s cool that they have brains 3 times bigger than humans. Koa is impressed that orcas are amazing predators that have no regular predators themselves and can make just about any other sea animal their meal, sometimes even sharks! He’s amazed at how fast they are and that they are the largest in the dolphin family. Orcas are found in every ocean and are just cool!
Koa loves walking, running and exploring anywhere outside, whether it’s in the mountains, on the beach or his front yard! He loves walking because it makes it easier to explore and he loves running because he loves feeling the wind in his hair often imagining he’s wildlife himself! He loves listening to nature and loves our morning stretches and exercising in the sunshine!
