She adores all animals and always makes sure to leave places cleaner than she found them, picking up garbage even if it’s not hers. She finds joy in the smells of the forest, the feel of moss and the sounds of birds. She isn’t afraid to get dirty. She views everything as a treasure. In nature, she’s confident, curious, and free. It’s where she feels happiest and where she can truly be her best self.
Kaylee has a hard time picking a favorite animal because she loves so many. From the tiniest insect to the largest whale, she’s endlessly curious about how they live, what they eat, and where they go. As an adult she hopes to have an animal sanctuary. Dolphins and great white sharks are her top two currently, mainly because they both leap out of the ocean in such amazing ways.
Kaylee doesn’t have a favorite outdoor activity—she truly loves them all! Whether she’s looking for bugs, hiking through the woods, hunting, fishing, paddle boarding, or searching for agates and other “treasures,” she’s always excited to explore. She loves whale watching, going clamming, and camping under the stars. Every outdoor adventure is a chance for her to discover something new, and she enjoys every moment of it.
