What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn moreHe loves to go on “adventures” and find new things. Even though he has explored the woods on our property hundreds of times he always finds something new. He is a kid who notices detail like a tree growing into an odd shape that he imagines into part of the story of his adventure.
He tells me a different animal every time I ask this question. He appreciates every animal for all of their different features and differences. He said he loves birds because of their singing and frogs because of their awesome jumping. He sees the beauty in all creatures.
He couldn’t decide between his two favorites so his first is climbing trees, he is a natural monkey and is always looking for the perfect tree to climb. He knows to test a branch before putting his weight on it and knows his limits for how high he should climb. Exploring our creek is his second. He knows the creatures that call it home and tries to find one of each every time he is in the water.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
