Learn moreKaitie loves everything about nature from simply taking walks to enjoy a breezy night and sunset to making sure that our neighborhood is safe for animals of all kinds. Kaitie makes it a practice to take nightly walks and pictures of sunsets. She wants to be a nature photographer.
Her favorite is the Giraffe. She loves all animals but she has always loved the grace and beauty of how they hold themselves. How they care for each other and how they are resilient. Baby giraffes stand and walk within a half hour of being born and can keep up with their mother while she runs within a week! Giraffes walk and run at a pace - meaning they lift both legs on the same side at almost the same time. And they have one of the biggest hearts in nature. Both literally and figuratively.
Simply just being in nature. Her favorite way to be in nature is taking nightly walks and hiking when we get a chance. Being able to be in a national park and quietly hike the trails to see the different terrain, foliage, plants, animals, bugs. It's all an explorer could ask for. Many times on our hikes we will find something new and different that we haven't seen in person before and Kaitie will investigate to find out everything she can about it. It's her passion
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
