Receive Text UpdatesMy daughter loves nature, especially the ocean. She enjoys snorkeling, spotting fish and turtles, and learning about plankton that make oxygen. She goes on whale watches with us (her marine biologist parents) and is amazed by humpbacks. She also loves hiking, exploring, and helping animals. Nature makes her feel curious and happy, and she wants to help protect it for all living things.
My daughter loves all cats and is amazed by ocean animals like sea turtles and whales—but Komodo dragons are her favorite. She thinks their adaptations, like venom and a forked tongue, are like superpowers. She hopes to see them in the wild someday and wants to help protect them and other animals through conservation.
My daughter’s favorite outdoor activity is snorkeling off Maui. She loves swimming and spotting turtles, reef fish, and coral. She says it feels like exploring a hidden world. She especially loves seeing Hawaii’s endemic animals—it feels special to her because she was born and raised here too. Learning about and protecting her home’s unique ocean life means a lot to her.
