What does Juniper love most about nature?

Ever since she was a baby, Juniper has always been calmest in nature. Being outside is the ultimate reset when she’s feeling out of sorts. She loves the open-ended space to run and play without restriction, observing insects and birds, and playing with her water table.

What is Juniper's favorite animal—and why?

Juniper’s says her favorite animal is a bird (just like her mom’s favorite category of animal!). Her favorite thing about birds is “that they can fly with their wings.” She says her favorite kind of bird is a Blue Jay.

What is Juniper's favorite outdoor activity?

She mostly loves collecting small treasures that she finds, such as sticks or leaves or flower petals. We use them to make crafts or return them outside later. She has such a genuine respect for the flowers and other things we find on our nature walks. She really seems to understand that it’s ours to enjoy, but not to keep. She loves helping her dad in the garden, and taking her dog on walks with her mom.
