Learn moreFlowers are Jude’s favorite thing about nature. He has grown up tending to gardens with his grandmother and parents. He finds great wonder and joy in planting a seed and nurturing it to grow in to something beautiful and unique. He understands that flowers draw the bees and butterflies that pollinate our planet. He loves getting his hands dirty and finding and identifying all the creatures in the soil. He is a self proclaimed bug scientist.
Of all the times I’ve asked him, his answer remains the same. Jude’s favorite animal is a Goose! Why, you ask? Because they are so silly! Also because they make the silliest honk honk sounds.
Jude’s favorite outdoor activity is without a doubt spending time in the dirt, especially if water is involved. From being a two year old who lays in the dirt pushing cars through it, to a five year old who builds dams that can withstand the force of the garden hose, he will always find a sense of comfort when his hands are dirty.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
