Receive Text UpdatesJosie loves being outdoors and exploring with her family. She enjoys identifying animals and plants, especially the local flora in San Diego. Josie gets excited watching a bee gather nectar, a lizard scamper or birds chirp. She loves rivers, streams, rocks and simply being outside. Living in San Diego means daily outdoor adventures, her favorite spots being the local botanic gardens, zoo, beach and lagoons or her favorite playground. Nature is all around and Josie embraces it wholeheartedly!
Snakes! Josie loves snakes because they captivate her curiosity. She loves their unique way of slithering and is fascinated by their colors and scales. She often seeks out snakes and other reptiles in zoo and in the wild, ready to learn about their dangers and protect them. She loves that they can thrive globally, except for Antarctica, and this adds to her fascination. Her passion for snakes reflects her adventurous spirit and dedication to understanding and preserving nature.
Josie’s favorite outdoor activity is exploring nature trails to discover plants and animals. She also enjoys gardening with her grandpa, planting and watering from a young age. She loves to swim and play in the water at the beach and rivers. Hiking with her family and stopping to observe rocks, insects or reptiles is her favorite. She is always eager to get outside and adventure in nature!
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
