What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn moreJoshy is very curious and loves to learn about life cycles and see animals and bugs in their natural habitat. His class caught caterpillars to watch them cocoon and hatch into butterflies then released them all unharmed into the wild. He loved that lesson and learned so much from it, that now he looks at every bug he sees. He can tell you the different parts of an ant, how the butterflies hatched, that bumblebees are actually furry and dont want to sting people.
His favorite animal is a tie between a panda and a tiger. He loves pandas because they eat bamboo and leaves, not meat or fish like other "bears". He loves tigers because they have a strong roar and their unusual coloring makes them stand out and blend in at the same time.
Joshua loves to play outside. He loves to swim and visit parks, but his favorite thing to do is dig in the dirt to see what "treasures" he can find and look for different bugs. He also lives trees and anything green.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
