What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn moreJJ loves that "everything depends on one another". He is fascinated by how prey, predators, plants, and all creatures depend on one another to survive and thrive. JJ loves to learn about all creatures and climates and discover how animals and nature works together.
Crocodiles! JJ loves how crocodiles defend their territory and how mother crocodiles take such great care of their eggs and babies. "They even try to eat monitor lizards and anything that would try to eat the baby crocs".
JJ loves to go on nature walks and to observe the birds that live on the pond behind our house. He especially enjoys watching the Blue Herron he has nicknamed Fish Catcher. When he goes on walks with his sisters (and parents) they like to see who can find the most squirrels and other animals. Recently, JJ has enjoyed helping grow plants in the garden and harvesting the food that has grown.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
