He also enjoys learning about plants because they provide vital resources like oxygen & medicine to humans while acting as food & housing for animals both tiny & large! Jonah genuinely appreciates the beauty of nature & ensures those around him recognize it’s significance & learn how to preserve the valuable treasures in this world we call home!
When Jonah was 3, he fed an anteater & fell in love. His favorite stuffy “Gonzo” is his forever snuggle buddy. Fascinated by their long, sticky tongues that can stretch to 2 feet, & their bushy tails that wrap around them like a blanket, Jonah wishes he had those abilities so he could sneak his favorite candy, Reese's. He has learned about habitat destruction & poaching & is determined to educate, advocate, & protect all animals- in hope that his children will enjoy these incredible creatures!
As a military child, Jonah has been to over 30 zoos, national parks, & conservation centers all across our beautiful country. He enjoys hiking during our travels because we get to spend quality family time which is sometimes difficult with Dad gone so frequently. Jonah embraces the feeling of Mother Nature’s love & beauty. He says it’s relaxing to enjoy animals & plants. He also loves fossil hunting, swimming in lakes & hot springs & loved camping while at Yellowstone & Glacier National Park.
