John loves that there are endless things to explore with all senses! Follow an insect or animal and see/observe it's behavior. He loves that nature is peaceful and creates its own sounds. John enjoys touching different textures, tasting edible plants/berries, and smelling beautiful plants!
John loves grizzly bears because they look cool with claws bigger than a cat, teeth like a dog, fluffy fur like a rabbit but water resistant like a beaver, and taller than a person when they stand on 2 feet. They are also native to North America! Grizzly bears command our respect too! They need us to protect and respect their environment as well as their ability to live as animals.
John's favorite outdoor activity is any one involving friends no matter if it's camping, swimming, boating, space observation, playing at a park, climbing, nature observation, etc. If it's with friends outside, John is very happy! Nature is fascinating and fun. Being able to share nature with people who care about each other is amazing!
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
