Receive Text UpdatesJett says nature is just cool! A naturally inquisitive kid, he takes exploring the outdoors seriously. He is curious not only with animals but how they exist in the broader ecosystem and the connections between wildlife and their homes in nature. He loves to be outside because he says there is so much to do and see- from big animals to insects. When he’s not outside playing, he is reading books and watching shows about animals that he hopes to find on his next adventure.
Jett: It is hard to pick one, but the jaguar is my most favorite. They are skilled hunters and sneak through the jungle. They have sharp claws and teeth like lions the other big cats, they can open their mouths so wide. My second favorite are wolves because they work together with their packs to hunt and live, they can take down prey bigger than them because they learned to work together. My favorite bird is the peregrine falcon because they are so fast and dive to get their food.
Jett is in his happy place when he is outside. He enjoys taking nature walks, collecting dandelions for his mom and sisters, digging in the dirt for worms, going fishing, catching crawfish or tadpoles at the river, feeding the birds and watching them during winter, hunting respectively with his dad, looking for bald eagles or other animals on family road trips and so much more. He truly respects and loves nature and all things in it.
