Receive Text UpdatesHaving autism makes Jerrick have a unique way of seeing nature and animals. “I love how beautiful and funny some of them are. The different personalities you get to see and experience with them like when a worm gets mad at being dug up from the flower bed he’ll poop on you until he gets put back. It’s fun and interesting constantly, I love seeing how I can help and be part of it. When I went to the Georgia aquarium for the first time 2 weeks ago watching the whale shark get fed was amazing!”
My favorite animal is a chicken. They eat ticks, they are social and so cute. They can be super friendly, like your best friend with feathers. They are amazing , fluffy, soft and so fun that they make any day better just being around. But really I love all animals, I love the edZoocation boxes I get each month that tells me about endangered animals and I think of ways we could help them. I wish we could work together to help all animals be at home in the beautiful nature where they belong.
Any time I can be outside and experience and observe nature all around us. It’s so interesting and weird, unique and funny. Like worms don’t have eyes but they know where they want to go! I love observing and helping wherever I can like if a bee needs water or a turtle needs help across the road and anything else I can help. I love that my home is surrounded by nature so I can appreciate it daily. But I’m sad that there is so much pollution that ruins nature for people to enjoy.
