What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn moreJaxon loves finding out more about animals and their habitats. We live on 11 acres with creeks, steams and fields. We are constantly going on rides throughout the property looking for signs of different habitats evolving. He loves adventures and the surprises it brings. He loves the peacefulness of sitting by the water with a fishing rod, waiting quietly and hoping for a big catch.
He loves large mouth bass. He also is intrigued by a peregrine falcon!
Fishing is his favorite thing because it feels like an adventure every time he picks up his rod. When he casts his line into the water, he isn’t just waiting—he’s hoping, imagining, and learning. It’s peaceful, yet filled with the excitement of not knowing what might happen next. He likes the way it makes him feel—calm but focused, patient yet ready. And when he finally catches a fish, whether it’s big or small, it feels like a victory.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
