What does Janey love most about nature?

Nature is a great place to observe animals and learn about our natural world. All organisms are fascinating in their own way, including the weird, creepy, and ugly ones! Like spiders, many people fear them, but Janey appreciates their beauty and the roles they play in their world. She knows we have a lot to learn from nature.

What is Janey's favorite animal—and why?

Janey has a hard time choosing just one because she truly loves all animals, but she does have a special place in her heart for rabbits. She loves them because they are cute and she loves to watch them hop around our yard.

What is Janey's favorite outdoor activity?

Janey loves going on scavenger hunts outside because they are fun and she gets to look for so many different and interesting things. One time she found a dead squirrel, and although she was sad it was dead, it was still interesting to her. She got to see a squirrel up close! Afterwards, she said goodbye to it and put it in the grass so its body would feed something else and exclaimed ‘Its the circle of life!’
