What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn moreJames loves the excitement of new animals, plants, and scenery. He loves to explore new places, and has learned from a young age to respect animals and natural settings. There's always something new to see and do, even on a trail you've explored a dozen times, because nature is always changing and growing.
James loves lions! The reason may seem kind of silly....it's because he loves his pet housecats so much, it's made him love all manner of cats!
James's favorite outdoor activity is hiking as a family. State parks, national parks, historic sites, community trails, you name it! He particularly loves hiking in a park in the blue ridge mountains near his grandparents. We visit so many parks and historic sites, he's done state and national park Junior Ranger programs countless times, and takes his role seriously.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
