Receive Text UpdatesJake got his love for nature from his Pop. He lives in Newfoundland, where nature starts in his own backyard. He loves to climb trees and have nature walks in the woods where he can explore all it has to offer. He likes to go with his dad to hunt for food as well. Spending time in the woods is probably one of his favourite things to do cause it usually means dad and me time alone together to explore and hear stories from dad of his own childhood days.
Jakes seems to love most animals. However his black Labrador retriever, “Trigger” is probably his favourite. Before, Trigger got to old to participate in Jakes activities. You could often find both of them outside playing together, especially in the snow. They use to go for walks and play catch together.
Jake loves everything outdoors. He wakes in the morning and is eager to get out there. He has his hands into everything. He helps with the vegetable garden, getting firewood for the winter, loves to go fishing out in the bay or ice fishing on the pond. He loves a good cook up in the woods. He don’t care what the weather is like. He loves to play in the snow and even help shovel it. If dad can do it, he thinks he can too. If not outside, he’s watching nature shows.
