Learn moreLearning about nature and exploring can never end. I love being outside in nature because every time is different, even if it’s the same place. Sometimes we camp near water, and I can hear and play in the water. Sometimes it can also be scary being in some animals habitats, but it’s worth it. Starting a fire in the woods in the morning when it’s cold is my favorite, while I listen to the birds. Being in nature somehow helps my imagination! I can pretend ANYTHING outside,being anyone or anything!
My favorite animal is a bear. We visited Yellowstone National Park last year, and I saw a lot in real life! That’s when they became my favorite. We saw a lot of black bears, which can be the color brown and still be called that. We also saw grizzly bears! That was scary, but they didn’t even look at us. They could be dangerous when they are protecting their babies. I love when they lay down and scratch their backs, it’s so funny! Last: “Black-fight back, brown-lay down, white-say goodnight!”
Camping. Camping is the best because I’m allowed to explore all day. I pack a survival backpack every time, and I make the fire in the mornings. I always find trees close together to build a fort near our campsite. I normally dig out the middle and make walls and chairs from branches I find. Then, I can listen and watch all that’s around me. I always see new birds and bugs, or lizards! And sometimes elk or deer if I’m quiet. When I’m near the water, I lift up rocks to find creatures.
