What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn moreJackson loves hiking and experiencing the life both plant and animal. He is especially interested in birds and often is able to identify birds before I am. He is very excited to hike and see the beauty around him.
His favorite animal is a penguin. He has really loved learning about their different characteristics including their barbed tongue. We have had the opportunity to be in an enclosure with them, but he would like to see them in the wild.
His favorite outdoor activity has been whitewater rafting. He has been able to do this twice and he has surprised the guides on how much power he is willing to push the paddle with as we have traveled down the river. Both times we have seen unique wildlife including a blacked crowned night heron and a marmot.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
