What does Jackson love most about nature?

Whether it's going on our beautiful Tucson desert hikes, swimming at the beach, or going on ocean safari tours, his enthusiasm for the great outdoors is infinite. He is always in awe of the little bugs in our backyard, our "desert fairies" (the fuzzy seeds on the creosote bush), giant saguaros, and little "old man cactus." We recently experienced our first ocean safari tour as a family. I will never forget the look on his face when he saw the first Mobula Ray jump out of the water!

What is Jackson's favorite animal—and why?

His favorite animal is Ozzy, our golden retriever. He says he will be an astronaut one day and take his best friend Ozzy to space!

What is Jackson's favorite outdoor activity?

His favorite and everyday activity is hiking our beautiful desert trails! He started with little hikes, and now he runs them like a pro. When he stops, he gazes into the distance with genuine appreciation for where he is at that moment.
