Jackson thinks nature is a treasure! There is something new and interesting each time we are in nature. He especially enjoys exploring nature via horseback, identifying animals, and collecting rocks and fossils. He often returns with artifacts and rocks to identify and polish in his rock tumbler! Our finds often include geological formations, caves, creeks/rivers, and he also very excited to identify seasonal changes such as mushroom hunting, berry picking, and identifying flowering trees.
Horses are Jackson's favorite animal, he says it's because riding his horse gets him to the best areas to explore creeks and rivers here in the midwest!
Jackson says his favorite thing to do is ride horses to the creek! The creek is a fun place to swim, throw rocks, identify animals, and collect rocks.
