What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn moreIra loves everything about the great outdoors. He loves exploring nature wherever he is; whether we are on our property or we are visiting a state/national park. He loves discovering new (to him) critters and learning about them. His love of nature just comes so natural to him, unlike reading. Ira has dyslexia so reading is challenging to for him so we have encouraged him to learn about nature in person and in books. Nature magazines opened his eyes to a whole new world and encouraged reading.
Ira’s favorite animal is a mountain lion. The sheer beauty of this magnificent creature and power they possess is astounding.
Ira’s favorite outdoor activity is hunting of any kind; whether it is berries, rocks, mushrooms, geodes, deer, etc. He loves searching our local creek for geodes and fossils then wading in the water searching for a deeper hole to swim in.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
