Hugo loves to camp, hike, and explore new places! He especially loves animals and is eager to learn specific details about their behavior.

Hugo feels happy and free when he is in nature. He loves nature because it’s full of adventure! He likes climbing big rocks and pretending they’re mountains. When he hears birds singing he tries to mimic them. He loves finding bugs, snakes, and feeling the wind on his face when he runs around. Nature is never boring—there’s always something new to explore, like puddles to jump in, trees to climb, or secret paths to follow. It’s the best playground ever made.
Hugo's favorite animal is a snake! He likes finding them when he goes hiking—they hide under rocks and in the grass. One time, he caught a little one with his dad! Snakes are super cool because they slither instead of walk. Hugo's favorite species is the Burmese python. Did you know it can swallow a whole deer? That’s crazy! Snakes are sneaky, fast, strong, and awesome!
Hugo's favorite outdoor activity is camping and hiking to Morgan Falls! He loves to climb the rocks and then swim in the pool under the waterfall—it’s cold but so fun! While camping he loves to listen to the crickets and frogs at night. One of his favorite parts of camping is building campfires. Hugo is a good helper setting up the logs in a cabin style before a grown up lights the fire. Roasting marshmallows and watching the fire is always a fun way to end a full day of adventuring.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
