He has helped turn his own yard, once filled with just grass, back into a healthy, natural habitat to bring insects, reptiles, and other critters back to our neighborhood. He works hard to plant trees and plants to protect to our valuable native species.

Hugo wants to hike and explore at every opportunity. Every rock, crawdad, and insect he finds is a thing to be treasured. He uses each encounter to teach those around him of the history of how the rock was formed or the uniqueness of that insect or fish.
