What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn moreHenry loves to discover things he has never seen before! When he hikes, he picks up rocks, shells, seed pods, pine cones, feathers, and any other treasures that catch his eye. He loves to touch the fish that swim in front of him while he snorkels in the ocean. He can find a walking stick on any trail. Can he climb the tree, waterfall, sand dune, or mountain? If the answer is no, he will still look for a way!
Henry cannot pick just one animal to hold the number one spot in his heart. His favorite bird is the cardinal because they are his favorite color red, and he enjoys watching them eat at his backyard bird feeder. His favorite mammal is his German Shepherd, Ace. Henry and his dog go on many adventures together. His favorite reptile is the lizard because there so many different varieties of them! They come in so many colors, shapes, and sizes. Plus, lizards are fun the catch and release.
Henry loves to swim. He has had opportunities to swim in pools, lakes, oceans, play in waterfalls, and go rock hopping in rivers. There are so many interesting plants and animals that live in and around water, and Henry is fascinated by them all. Whether he is picking up a starfish from the sandy ocean floor or he is catching a frog hiding in a babbling brook, Henry is one with the water.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
