I love nature because I get to see animals and birds like robins, cardinals, blue jays, and even a woodpecker! I like looking for frogs and turtles, and one time I found a beautiful pink tree with flowers in the spring. Nature makes me feel calm, like everything is peaceful. I want to help save any animals that are hurt or lost, because I care about them and want them to be safe.
My favorite animal is a koala because they have big fluffy ears and can hear really well! I know lots of koala facts—they live in Australia, they are marsupials, and they can climb trees because they have sharp claws. They love to eat eucalyptus leaves, and I think it’s funny how they chew so slowly. I like how they hug trees and look so cuddly. I think it would be fun to climb like a koala and nap in the trees!
My favorite outdoor activity is looking for animals and riding my bike. I like to ride around my neighborhood and look for birds, squirrels, and bunnies. Sometimes I even see turtles or frogs! I also like planting and watering the garden, it’s fun to watch them grow and eat what we grow! I like going on adventures outside I feel happy and calm.
