Hayes says that he loves nature because there are so many cool things outside and you can never stop discovering something new . He also stated that nature is beautiful.
Hayes’ favorite animal is a mouse. He thinks they are adorable and fluffy and you can find them everywhere. He says that anywhere you go has mice. He also said that he loves the feeling of picking them up and letting them run up and down his arms because it tickles. 😀 He also LOVED snakes, which is what I thought he would say when asked what his favorite animal was. He has begged for a pet snake for over a year.
While Hayes enjoys dozens of outdoor activities his favorite is definitely fishing. He is a very skilled fisherman for only being six. We have a pond and that’s where you can find him most days with a rod in hand. He has his own paddle boat and takes it out to set catfish lines. He is knowledgeable on which bait or tackle to select depending on what he is fishing for and the location he in. Hayes also enjoys going on solo walks around our property. He saya it makes him feel better.
