There is a curiosity that buzzes around Harvey when he is in nature & he is forever enlightening himself further about critters & habitats. Harvey’s heart grows when he is in nature.
The capybara, of course! Harvey’s love for this adorable rodent is undeniable. Harvey connects with the capybara because in many ways, they are quite similar. Capybaras are very social animals, as is Harvey. Capybaras love water, as does Harvey. Capybaras are known to be sneaky escape artists, as is Harvey when he wants a moment alone in the yard in peace & quiet. Capybaras are gentle, as is Harvey. He is a friend to all & is the first to lend an ear or help a classmate in need.
Harvey loves to garden with his dad because he loves the connection & companionship that comes with their shared passion. They will spend hours in the garden tending to the crops & chatting about anything that comes to mind. Harvey loves watching his hard work come to life & eventually sharing his harvest with family & friends. He loves that nature comes to life while he is caring for his plants-the birds chirp around him & he can pull worms from the damp earth & feed the treats to his 7 hens.
