Harper loves that nature is full of surprises. Every day after school, she checks the pool drain, hoping to find something wild. Snakes, toads, bugs… she loves them all. While most kids run from creepy crawlies, she runs toward them. Nature lets her be curious, brave, loud, and totally herself. Outside, she’s free to be wild in the best way.
“My favorite animal is a snake. They’re not scary to me.. they’re cool! I like how they move without legs and how they flick their tongue to smell stuff. People always freak out, but I think snakes are just misunderstood. They’re calm, quiet, and really smart. If I could be any animal, I’d be a snake. They don’t care what anyone thinks. They just do their own thing.” - Harper
“My favorite thing to do is catch snakes, bugs, frogs, and anything else I can find outside. I explore ditches, ponds, and muddy spots looking for critters. It’s like a treasure hunt! I get dirty, wet, and sometimes scratched, but I don’t care. Some kids play inside.. I’d rather be out catching something wild. It’s the most fun I’ve ever had.“ - Harper
