Receive Text UpdatesNature is BEAUTIFUL!! There are so many different colors, shapes, and patterns. I love seeing animals roaming, trees blowing in the wind, and flowing streams.
I love all animals! If I absolutely had to choose, I would say birds! They come in so many different colors and each have their own special sounds! Many birds have multiple different sounds that they use to communicate with their flock. Some birds are really smart! Crows have funerals for flock members who have died. Other birds, like hawks, have incredible eyesight! Not to mention, how cool it would be to be able to fly!
While I enjoy many activities like climbing trees, drawing nature scenes, and playing with my siblings, my favorite outdoor activity is doing Saw-whet owl banding at the Bird Sanctuary. We set up nets, check for/band owls. We document gender, age, and many other factors to help with research! Fun fact: most owls we band are female because the males don't migrate. They stay and protect their nest!
