What does Hailey love most about nature?

Hailey loves the wildlife, trees, and flowers. Her favorite animals are bees, deer, bears, foxes, moles, and earthworms. Oak trees are a favorite because animals can make homes in them. The symbiotic relationship between oak trees and animals is cool. She likes how bees collect nectar to make honey and how they spread pollen and help plants live.

What is Hailey's favorite animal—and why?

Honeybees because they collect pollen and spread it around. She likes that they’re fuzzy, too. They dance to communicate where flowers are located. And that they work as a big team and have specific jobs. Most importantly, they have a queen!

What is Hailey's favorite outdoor activity?

Hailey likes nature walks with her family and friends. She likes to use her magnifying glass to look at little creatures. She likes watching the squirrels and birds. She really likes checking off birds in her bird book. We enjoy using nature scavenger hunt cards. We like having a picnic. She likes the quiet, too.
