What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn moreHadley embodies nature and the outdoors. She loves that every day is a new adventure. Studying nature for her just isn’t in a text; it’s being outdoors everyday discovering new springs, rocks, mushrooms, animals and plants in our area. Learning why and how our Earth evolves. She wants to travel and see what the Earth has created. She’s eager to learn more about glaciers, oceans and volcanoes, not by textbook, but by physically traveling to these locations to learn more. Since she was little her favorite animal has been a Cheetah. Hadley is obsessed with their agility, camouflage, stealth and adaptations. Cheetah’s speed is impressive, but their long tails, retractable claws and tear drop eyes set them a part from all other cats. Hadley also loves that they chirp to communicate and do not roar. She has also been passionate about donating and advocating for cheetah conservation. Learning what she can do to help keep cheetahs protected.
Hadley’s favorite outdoor activity is climbing trees, building forts and creating art out of nature. If you are looking for Hadley outside, she is most likely high in a tree or collecting limbs for a new fort. She loves to build teepee style forts and cover them with leaves. Hadley also will find rocks, mud and other nature items and create little people, pretend food and buildings. She is extremely resourceful. Her next favorite activity is finding animal tracks and animal bones to study.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
