She loves the uniqueness of plants and how each creature is different. She is fascinated by how many things there are to discover in nature. She is always ready to go on an adventure and identify whatever she can find.
Gwen’s favorite animal is a hyrax. Not many people know about the hyrax, which is a unique and special animal. She likes the sounds it makes, from screams to squeaks. Hyraxes always have a mad face, like a pug. They are related to elephants and manatees despite looking like little capybaras. Hyraxes are herbivores with fang-like tusks.
Gwen likes hiking. There is so much to be curious about in the woods. You can wander and explore. There are animals that inhabit the wilderness that you can see. Gwen likes to identify their tracks in the mud or snow. She also loves to find mushrooms and uses an app to find out what they are. Gwen takes a bag to pick up trash on her hikes. She has a goal to hike the highest mountains and reach unexplored places.
