Learn moreSince Gus was a baby, he has been drawn to all things nature! From animals and bugs to dirt and trees- he loves it all! Gus loves that trees give us air! He loves to learn new animals and tells me about species I’ve never even heard of! Currently he is completing a research project about the different types of forests and the various animals and plants that habitat them. The circle of life is very important to him!
His favorite animal is a turtle because he has a shell and their shell protects them and is their home. He has saved many turtles from the road over the years! He loves that they are reptiles and learning about all the different types of turtles.
He loves flipping over rocks to find bugs and worms. He often makes animal homes and loves to build their habitats with all the various nature items he can find. He has numerous small toy animals and bugs that he’ll put in the habitats and then have “visitors” that he’ll show around! Being a zookeeper was his first choice for a job since he could say what he wanted and it has since transformed into being an explorer and naturalist. He loves it outside!!!
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
