He loves anything alive especially if it is squirmy, slimy, or cuddly . Snakes qualify as cuddly. He enjoys exploring and really gets excited over a good stick, they can be used for anything . He is huge on saving animals and treating things right, even if he does throw the occasional rock where he shouldn’t. His sister turned the 12 days of Christmas into the 12 animals my brother snuck into his room and ran out of days before critters. If you tell him there isn’t an animal, he will find it.
He loves Komodo dragons he said they are the coolest reptiles ever. He likes that they are big and should be scary but he isn’t scared. He said the bacteria in their saliva is interesting because not everything does that, it isn’t venom like a snake so that is kinda neat.
He loves to walk around the yard just exploring, he may find a rock to throw, keep in his pocket for the washer, or a good stick to poke around with, he may find a cool bug or toad, they are even better if his big sister screams and runs off. He gets really excited when he finds a snake, we are working on identifying them with mom, before we try to touch them, so he can be safer while exploring. He can just hang out and walk around for hours making his own fun as he goes and finding new things.
