The only thing she loves more than turtles, tortoises, & prehistoric creatures is a spotlight! She could beat the Kratts in wildlife trivia.

What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn moreQuoting Glory, "Nature has all of the animals in it!" She rescues earthworms from sidewalks after the rain and spiders who get lost indoors. She has literally gone flat onto her belly in Target's parking lot landscaping to point out an anole and encouraged passers-by to come take a look. Glory's biggest talent is shining her love for something in such an enthusiastic, bright, and sincere way that you can't do anything but buy in.
"My favorite animal is turtles and tortoises because they have shells that protect them even though all of them can't hide inside. They lived with the dinosaurs and also now. And they have cute little tails. And I love their faces. (Now whispering) ... And sometimes turtles breathe with their b-u-t-t"
Glory says "Exploring." She loves to dig up and fleas and tiny clams at our local beach and watch them burrow back into the sand. She carefully walks the beach at the end of each trip and fills in holes "to protect the turtles". Watching ants carry things makes her giddy. She will lay at the entrance to a nearby gopher tortoise burrow and chat with it. She can spot bald eagle nests and deer paths and alligator slides like she's had formal training.
