What does Garrett love most about nature?

Garrett loves all seasons. He loves playing in the snow and sledding all winter, making snowmen and playing with his dog in the snow. He loves planting gardens and growing/eating vegetables in spring and summer. Garrett loves nature walks in our nearby state park, looking for caterpillars and watching squirrels hide their food. He loves fishing and watching the turtles and frogs in the nearby pond. Being outside gives him the ability to explore and be creative.

What is Garrett's favorite animal—and why?

Garretts favorite animal is a bunny. We see them around our house and neighborhood. We found a bunny nest in the backyard and get visitors daily in the backyard. He asks many questions about animals daily and specially bunnies around Easter time. We were able to visit a bunny sanctuary to spend time with bunnies, petting them and feeding them. He loves how soft they are and he even sleeps with a stuffed animal bunny named hoppy.

What is Garrett's favorite outdoor activity?

Garretts favorite outdoor activity is playing in sand/dirt/mud. He loves digging and making puddles and driving cars and trucks through the mud. He loves shoveling up dirt and sand in his tractor and loading up the trailer with pinecones and sticks. We use pinecones to make homemade bird feeders and the sticks for fires to make s'mores.
