We focus our family activities and vacations around stuff that will put him up close and personal with animals and nature. Zoos, nature centers, hiking, camping, canoeing. We once spent 6 hours in the DNR building at the MN state Fair.
"The aye aye, because it has big eyes." His favorite animal changes all the time, and the reasons vary from "its just so cute" to it he loves the way it uses its "creature power" to it just happends to he the last one he saw or thought of. However he had always been fascinated with all creatures from Madagascar, and he circles back to they aye aye pretty consistently.
"Playing with my dogs." Gaius also loves getting dirty. Playing in the sand, water and mud. Summer rain storms are always a big hit for playing in large puddles. We always bring a swimsuit, towel and extra set of clothes with us anywhere we go. If there is water near by Gaius will play in it.
