Forrest was born to be outside! From a young age he has loved exploring in every season. He is passionate about nature and caring for earth.

Forrest loves the endless learning and surprises associated with nature. He enjoys any opportunity to be outdoors- biking trips in spring, kayaking in summer, hiking in the fall, and skiing and skating in the winter.
Forrest loves birds. He always says you’re lucky to get a quick peek because they can be so fast! He enjoys having picnics by the window all winter and watching the bird feeder in the backyard. There is such a wide variety of different types of birds and always something new to see or learn about. He even plays a game with his mom where he builds a nest of pillows and blankets for “mommy bird and baby bird”.
It’s so hard to choose! Forrest’s long time favorite is hiking. He enjoys the challenge of walking far and using his muscles to climb steep terrain. He loves looking for birds and animals along the way. He makes every trail an adventure with his silly imagination. And of course he loves riding in mom’s frame carrier and “peak treats” when he reaches the summit!
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
