Finn loves adventure and wants to discover the who, what, when, and why about the things he finds on his nature walks. He loves searching for fossils and shark teeth at the beach or in rocks. He is always wanting to know the history of each item and loves learning about how the landscaped formed or what the area used to look like millions of years ago.
Since the age of 2, Finn has LOVED Octopus and Giant Squid- really any type of cephalopod. This was well before the popularity of the octopus documentary (which we love) came out. He loves that they shoot black ink to hide, that the Giant Squid lives deep in the depths of the ocean and are still a modern-day mystery to man. He loves that octopus can regenerate most of their arms, and that they have almost super-hero abilities to hide and blend in. They also are incredibly smart and curious.
Finn loves exploring and seeking out treasures in the woods and on the beach. He loves hiking and beach combing- making discoveries of wildlife or seeing traces of wildlife that others walk right past.
