He loves doing anything outside & Florida (especially by the IRL) really fosters that love. He always asks why an animal does what it does.

What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn moreNature allows him to explore new things in a hands-on way. There's something different every time we go out, so there's always new questions and things to learn. He's very young, but I take any opportunity I can to teach him the importance of conservation and wildlife.
There's 2 animals that he loves - sharks and turtles! He's never seen a shark in person, but he loves seeing them on TV and I've been reading him books on sharks since he was two. Living in Brevard county, Florida, we have the special opportunity to see sea turtles during nesting season. That's undoubtedly made them one of his favorite animals. There's also sea turtle releases from the Brevard Zoo's rehab center.
He loves going to the beach! He's been collecting "treasures" (shells) with his grandma since he was a baby. We catch sand fleas in the tide pools and make sand castles. If we're lucky, we'll see some dolphins!
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
