Excequel, age 5, is endlessly curious and deeply connected to nature. In the Philippines, we surfed weekly while he explored the beach, collecting shells and asking questions about sea life. After moving to Canada, we swapped waves for daily nature walks. He now observes birds, trees, and snow with the same wonder. This summer, we’re planning our first camping adventures. With his explorer spirit and love for learning, Excequel is ready to be a Jr. Ranger!
Excequel’s favorite animal is a baby lion because they’re small but strong—just like him! He loves how brave and playful they are, and he says one day he’ll grow up to be “king of the forest” just like a lion!
Excequel’s favorite outdoor activities are freeze tag, camping, and picnics! He loves running around and laughing during freeze tag, especially when playing with his family. Camping is his big adventure—he’s excited to sleep in a tent, roast marshmallows, and explore nature. And nothing beats a sunny day picnic with his favorite snacks and lots of giggles. For Excequel, being outdoors means fun, family, and discovery!
