Receive Text UpdatesEvie loves how peaceful and beautiful nature is. When she is outside, she can see trees, flowers, and animals all around her. Nature makes her feel calm and happy. She also likes how everything in nature works together, like animals living in the forest and plants growing in the sun. Evie loves running, playing in nature, and getting dirty any chance she gets. She is a Girl Scout and a National Geographic Member because she loves to learn about the world she lives in and wants to save the Earth.
Evie’s favorite animal is the axolotl because they are unique and cute. Axolotls have funny faces and always look like they are smiling. That is because when their mouth closes the corners bend up. They live underwater and have a special way of breathing, which makes them different from other animals. The things that stick out on its head are gills. Evie would love to see an axolotl but they live in 1 place, Lake Xochimilco, Mexico City, a freshwater lake. Axolotls are rare and sadly endangered.
Evie has a lot of favorites when it comes to the wilderness. She loves camping and learning with the Girl Scouts. They learned to leave a place better than you found it, and to be prepared. She also loves being in her backyard. She loves playing fetch with her 3 dogs, swinging on her swing set, free falling, and digging for bugs. Evie even recently built a roly poly hotel to study them and keep them safe from predators.
