Learn moreEverly has a profound love for nature, and what she cherishes most are the critters that inhabit it. From the tiniest ants to the squiggliest worms, she sees beauty and value in every creature, no matter how small. Her heart fills with joy when she spots a ladybug or watches a butterfly flutter by. She has a natural instinct to care for all living things, often stopping to gently relocate a worm from the sidewalk to safety or to carefully observe ants at work.
She will tell you, her favorite animal is a giraffe, mostly thinks they’re super cute and she loves feeding them at the zoo. She’ll even put a piece of lettuce in her mouth and allow the giraffe to take it with its tongue. She also is obsessed with dinosaurs. I don’t know where that fascination came from but she surely does love them. She hopes to meet one day, ha ha.
We live at the beach, but we travel to the mountains. Often, she loves to ride her bike, her scooter, collect leaves or play at the beach by swimming or building sand castles. She will save any worm that she sees on the sidewalk, sometimes making her short walks extra long, she save an ant out of the house to bring them outside, etc.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
