Animals! Evelyn loves all animals, and studying their habitats. She has over 15 different pets that she has built realistic homes for and cares for lovingly. Her collection includes 3 snakes, 3 turtles + 1 tortoise, 2 lizards, numerous fish, crayfish, salamanders, plus a rabbit, dog, and cat! She is an active Girl Scout and artist. She is a true outdoors lover, always seeking adventure! She enjoys hiking, but her true passion is searching for wild life in water.
Frogs!! She loves that they are slimy, cute, tiny, athletic and hoppy! It’s also cool that there are so many different varieties, and observing the different stages of metamorphosis in the life cycle. She loves frogs! Check out her Youtube Channel: Sally Scoop Frog Vlog
Fishing and turtle hunting! Evelyn spends tons of time in local creeks, catching and releasing all kinds of aquatic life. This spring she studied salamanders, and found them under rocks! She loves seeing the turtles sunbathe and swim along the river bank. She likes to explore from land and on her kayak. Never afraid to get dirty, and tenderly handling the wildlife so she can get a closer look and return them to safety. This passion started at age 3, and now at 9 years old, she’s a pro!
