What does Evan love most about nature?

Evan loves everything about being in nature. He likes looking at trees, plants, and most of all animals! When we go on hikes, Evan always wants to lead so he can find cool and exciting plants and animals. He said his favorite part of our hikes is feeling like he is a part of nature! Evan loves learning and exploring about nature. When we went to Disney World, Evan insisted on completing the Wilderness Explorers scavenger hunt. He even did that instead of some rides!

What is Evan's favorite animal—and why?

Evan’s favorite animals are cats! “I like them because they’re cute and I really like their meow.”😻 Sometimes Evan tries to act like a cat by meowing and walking on his hands and feet. Evan likes to try to pet cats, but sometimes they run away. Sometimes we even see cats on the street! Evan gets excited, but he knows not to pet those cats. His favorite cat is our friends cat named Oreo.

What is Evan's favorite outdoor activity?

When Evan is at home, he loves checking on the birdhouse he put together and hung in a tree. He recently saw birds going in and out of it and could see a nest inside! He was so excited! He knows not to touch the nest though. Evan also loves going on hikes! One time he found a tree that hung over a creek and he climbed on top of it. He loved being able to look into the water from above.
